Working meeting of the Executive Directorate of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers with the delegation of the Republic of India

Working meeting between Andrey Kalinin, Director of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, Mr. Amrinder Singh, Vice-President of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers from the Republic of India, and Mr. Ramesh Kumar, representative of the Parliament of the Republic of India took place at the headquarter of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers on May 28, 2025.

Issues of cooperation in the field of fire and rescue sport, the organization of the training process of the national team of the Republic of India for participation in the world championships in fire and rescue sport, and other international events held under the auspices of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers and the future World Championship among firefighters and rescuers in the Republic of India were discussed during the negotiations.

Mr. Ramesh Kumar informed about the interest of the Republic of India concerning cooperation with the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, as the events, organized by the ISFFR, represent a unique platform for the exchange of the best practices in dealing with emergency situations and familiarization with the latest fire and rescue equipment.

The negotiations were held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, and undoubtedly served to strengthen friendly ties for cooperation and exchange of the experience between the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers and the Republic of India.
