On August 23, 2025, in the Republic of Mordovia, Saransk, at the Start stadium, in an atmosphere of friendship and sports excitement, the first final races among young men and juniors, girls and juniors in climbing the assault ladder to the window of the 2nd and 3rd floors of the training tower were held as part of the grand opening of the XIV World Championship among young men and juniors and the X World Championship among girls and juniors in fire and rescue sports.

Sports delegations from the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Latvia, Mongolia, the Russian Federation, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Slovak Republic, and the Czech Republic took part in the world championships.

Sberbank PJSC acted as the General Partner of the XIV World Championship among young men and juniors and the X World Championship among girls and juniors in fire and rescue sports.

The competition program consisted of four types: climbing the assault ladder to the windows of the 2nd and 3rd floors of the training tower, overcoming a 100-meter obstacle course, a 4x100-meter fire relay race, and combat deployment. Young athletes competed for the title of the strongest on the running tracks for 4 days, demonstrating professionalism, courage, and the desire to win.

On the first day of competition, athletes competed in climbing a scaling ladder into the window of the 2nd and 3rd floors of the training tower. This is one of the most spectacular types of fire and rescue sports.

According to the results of the final races, the winner among girls in the younger age group was Kasimova Amalia (Russian Federation) (result 7.61 sec.), silver went to Bunyakina Anastasia (Republic of Kazakhstan) (result 7.71 sec.), bronze to Solodova Margarita (Russian Federation) (result 7.84 sec.).

A separate event of the X World Championship among girls and juniors in fire and rescue sports was the setting of a new world record in the discipline "Climbing a scaling ladder into the window of the 2nd floor of the training tower" - 7.22 sec. The record belongs to Ksenia Gusak (Republic of Belarus), who competes in the younger age group. The previous record was set in 2015 at the II World Championship among girls and juniors in fire and rescue sports in Grodno (Republic of Belarus) by Anna Starodymova (Russian Federation) with a result of 7.30 sec.

In the middle age group among girls, the first place was won by the athlete of the Republic of Belarus Gusak Ksenia (result 7.22 sec), the second and third places were won by the athletes of the Russian Federation Evgenia Shmidt (result 7.35 sec.) and Kristina Kopkova (result 7.39 sec.).

In the senior age group among juniors, the winner was the athlete of the Russian Federation, Makeeva Victoria (result 7.39 sec.), the second place went to Parfenova Ksenia (Russian Federation) (result 7.43 sec.), the third honorable place went to Kotlyarova Polina (Republic of Belarus) (result 7.48 sec.).

The winner among young men in the junior age group was the athlete of the Russian Federation, Artem Frolovsky (result 6.79 sec.), silver went to the athlete of the Republic of Belarus, Harlenok Andrey (result 6.86 sec.), bronze also went to the athlete of the Russian Federation, Kats Maksimilian (result 6.96 sec.).

In the middle age group among young men, the first place was won by Ivan Semeynikova (Republic of Belarus) (result 7.24 sec.), the second place by the athlete of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nikita Bokov (result 7.26 sec.), the third place by the athlete of the Russian Federation Matvey Osipov (result 7.48 sec.)

In the senior age group among juniors, gold went to Ilya Krayukhin (Russian Federation) (result 13.08 sec.), silver was won by Vladislav Ermalovich (Republic of Belarus) (result 13.20 sec.), bronze went to Maxim Kuznetsov (Russian Federation) (result 13.73 sec.)

The opening ceremony became a real celebration of friendship and sports between young firefighters and rescuers! Athletes and guests saw Mordovian creativity, a dance show and a festive fireworks display in the colors of the Russian tricolor.

The following delivered welcoming remarks: Head of the Republic of Mordovia Artem Zdunov, Deputy Head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry Vyacheslav Butko, Director of the International Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers Andrei Kalinin and other honored guests.

On August 24, the competition continued on the running tracks of the Start stadium.

The participants of the world championships competed in overcoming a 100-meter obstacle course.

And only the strongest sportsmen and sportswomen with the best results in a tough fight became participants in the final race.

In the final races among girls, the places were distributed as follows: in the younger age group, the winner was the sportswoman of the national team of the Republic of Belarus - Sofia Isayevich (result 17.99 sec), the second place went to Kuzmina Varvara (Russian Federation) (result 18.09 sec), the third place was won by Romanova Valeria (Republic of Belarus) (result 18.18 sec).

In the middle age group, Margarita Nikiforova (Russian Federation) came in first (17.02 sec.), while athletes from the Republic of Belarus Ksenia Gusak (17.05 sec.) and Ulyana Timofeeva (17.37 sec.) came in second and third.

Among the juniors, the world champion was an athlete from the Russian national team – Victoria Makeeva (18.09 sec.), while the second place went to an athlete from the Republic of Belarus Emilia Shpinkova (18.27 sec.), and the third place also went to an athlete from the Republic of Belarus Elizaveta Puninskaya (18.38 sec.).

Among the young men in the younger age group, the winner was Andrey Harlyonok from the Republic of Belarus (18.44 sec.), silver went to Maksimilian Kats from the Russian Federation (18.60 sec.), and bronze went to Artem Frolovsky (Russian Federation) (18.65 sec.).

In the middle age group, Ivan Semeynikov (Republic of Belarus) became the world champion (20.20 sec.), Nikita Bokov (Republic of Kazakhstan) came in second (20.32 sec.), and Arseny Vilvert (Russian Federation) came in third (20.33 sec.).

The winner among juniors was the athlete from the Republic of Belarus, Vladislav Ermalovich (result 16.12 sec.), the silver medalist was Yaroslav Gurinovich (Republic of Belarus) (result 19.30 sec.), the bronze was won by Ilya Krayukhin (Russian Federation) (result 20.99 sec.).

On the third day of the XIV World Championship among youth and juniors and the X World Championship among girls and juniors in fire and rescue sports, the national teams of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Slovak Republic demonstrated teamwork in the fire relay.

At each stage of the relay, the young athletes demonstrated incredible speed, agility and coordinated teamwork.

At the end of the day, the Russian national team among girls won gold! The athletes from the Republic of Belarus came in second, and the national team of the Slovak Republic won bronze.

Among the young men, the first place went to the Russian national team, the second place went to the national team of the Republic of Belarus, and the third place of honor went to the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

August 26, 2025, was the final day of the XIV World Championship among youth and juniors and the X World Championship among girls and juniors in fire and rescue sports. The national teams competed in combat deployment. The athletes demonstrated skill and will to win.

According to the results of the competition day among young men, the first place went to the national team of the Russian Federation, the second place went to the national team of the Republic of Belarus, and the third place went to the Slovak Republic.

The girls' places were distributed as follows: the national team of the Republic of Belarus came in first, the athletes from the national team of the Russian Federation came in second, and the girls from the Republic of Kazakhstan came in third.

Following the tough competition, the places among young men and juniors were distributed as follows:
1st place – Russian Federation;
2nd place – Republic of Belarus;
3rd place – Republic of Kazakhstan.

Among girls and juniors:
1st place – Russian Federation;
2nd place – Republic of Belarus;
3rd place – Republic of Kazakhstan.

For friendship between peoples and the will to win, the Director of the International Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers Andrey Kalinin presented the Friendship Cup to the national team of the Slovak Republic, which showed worthy sports results!
After the races, the closing ceremony of the World Championships in Fire and Rescue Sports took place.

The guests, athletes and refereeing staff were congratulated on the completion of the World Championships by: Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Mordovia Batyr Emeev, Director of the International Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers Andrey Kalinin, Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Mordovia Sergey Repin, President of the Federation of Fire and Rescue Sports of Russia Sergey Kudinov, Manager of the Mordovian branch of PAO Sberbank Oleg Kalachev.

The prize-winners and winners were awarded cups, diplomas, medals and valuable gifts.
