Results of the International Fire Rescue Sport Competition for the Cup of the Public Association «Belarusian Federation of Fire Rescue Sport»

From 17 to 23 June 2024 on the basis of the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus took place the  International Fire Rescue Sport Competition for the Cup of the Public Association «Belarusian Federation of Fire Rescue Sport».

During four competition days men's and women's teams from the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, as well as teams representing the Belarusian EMERCOM units of Brest, Gomel, Grodno, Vitebsk, Mogilev and Minsk regions, Minsk and the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations competed in the international competition. Athletes had to overcome the "100-metre obstacle course", compete in "climbing the assault ladder to the floors of the training tower", "fire relay race 4x100 metres", as well as in "combat deployment".

The purpose of the competition is to develop and popularise fire and rescue sports, to improve professional and sports skills of rescue athletes, as well as to strengthen international relations and cooperation in the field of sports.

According to the results of 4 days of the competition in the team standings, the places were distributed as follows:

International standings (men):

1st place - Russian Federation 
2nd place - Republic of Belarus

International classification (women):

1st place - Russian Federation
2nd place - Republic of Belarus

Winners and prize-winners of the competitions were awarded with cups, medals, diplomas and memorable prizes.
