RESULTS OF THE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS IN FIRE AND RESCUE SPORT FOR THE CUP OF THE BELARUSIAN FEDERATION OF FIRE AND RESCUE SPORT
From June 15 to 21, 2026, the International competitions for the Cup of the Belarusian Federation of Fire and Rescue Sport were held in Minsk, Republic of Belarus, under the auspices of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers (ISFFR) at the facilities of the Civil Defense University of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus and the National Olympic Stadium "Dinamo".
Over four action-packed days, athletes from the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the Slovak Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan competed for the title of the best, demonstrating a high level of training and a will to win. Among the guests of the event were representatives of the Czech Union of Fire Sport.
The competitions were another stage in the preparation of national teams for the upcoming World Championship in fire and rescue sport in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan.
On the first competition day, the athletes competed in the discipline "Hook ladder climbing to the 4th and 2nd floors of the training tower", demonstrating speed, strength and endurance, which are so important and necessary in the fight to save human lives.
The participants of the competitions were welcomed by Andrei Kalinin, Director of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers. He noted the importance of holding international tournaments and thanked the Belarusian side for organizing the competitions.
During the solemn opening ceremony of the competition, the final races were held and the names of the first winners and prize-winners in the individual events were determined.
Among women, Valeryia Furyk (Republic of Belarus) took the podium — she won gold with a time of 7.00 seconds. Second place went to Anna Iudina from the Russian Federation in 7.02 seconds, and third place — to Alexandra Lasenkova from the Republic of Belarus with a time of 7.08 seconds.
Among men, Stanislav Titorenko (Russian Federation) won first place in the discipline "Hook ladder climbing to the 4th floor of the training tower" with a result of 12.93 seconds. Second place was shared by Nikita Ukolau (Republic of Belarus) and Dmitrii Grebenshchikov (Russian Federation), both with a time of 13.12 seconds.
On June 18, the participants competed in the discipline "Overcoming 100-meter obstacle course".
In the 100-meter obstacle course, Ilya Bandarenka from the Republic of Belarus showed the best result (14.90 seconds), Ilya Navumau (Republic of Belarus) took second place with 15.18 seconds, and third place went to Erdavlet Juldasbekov (Republic of Uzbekistan) with 15.70 seconds.
The women also successfully tackled the obstacle course. After a hard-fought competition, Maysara Yusupova (Republic of Uzbekistan) won with 16.29 seconds. Arina Khvorystkina (Russian Federation) took second place with 19.11 seconds. Third place was won by Olesia Tsenova (Russian Federation) with 19.63 seconds.
The third day of the competition showcased the professionalism of firefighters and rescuers in the discipline "Fire relay race 4×100 meters".
Among women's teams, the athletes of the Russian Federation team became the winners with a time of 59.10 seconds, second place went to the team from the Republic of Belarus with 59.89 seconds, and third place — to the representatives from the Republic of Uzbekistan with 63.62 seconds.
Among men, the team of the Russian Federation won with 54.12 seconds, second place also went to the athletes from the Russian Federation with 55.13 seconds, and bronze went to the team of the Republic of Belarus with 55.95 seconds.
On the fourth and final day, a competition in the discipline "Combat deployment" unfolded at the "Dinamo" stadium.
This is a real test for firefighters and rescuers, simulating real firefighting conditions.
The process involves fast and coordinated work: connecting the main line to the motor pump and the breeching, laying the hose line, connecting the suction hoses to the motor pump and the suction strainer. As soon as the motor pump starts working, water rushes through the hose line, and the nozzleman's task is to fill the target.
In the women's standings, the team of the Russian Federation won with 27.12 seconds, second place went to the representatives of the Republic of Uzbekistan with 27.31 seconds, and third —to the team of the Republic of Belarus with 27.84 seconds.
In the men's competition, first place went to the team of the Republic of Belarus with 26.81 seconds, silver went to the team of the Vitebsk Regional Department for Emergency Situations with 27.28 seconds, and bronze went to the team of the Republic of Uzbekistan with 27.50 seconds.
Following four competition days, in the men's team standings, first place went to the team of the Republic of Belarus, silver — to the team from the Russian Federation, and bronze — to the athletes from the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Among women, the team of the Russian Federation won gold, second place went to the team of the Republic of Belarus, and third place to the team of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The solemn closing ceremony of the International competitions for the Cup of the Belarusian Federation of Fire and Rescue Sport was held with the participation of the Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, Chairman of the Belarusian Federation of Fire and Rescue Sport, Vadim Sinyavsky.
The Minister for Emergency Situations expressed his gratitude to all participants, organizers and judges of the competition for the high level of preparation and organization of the event, and also emphasized that such tournaments contribute to the popularization of the rescue profession and the promotion of life safety awareness.
The participants of the competition were also welcomed by Alexander Chupriyan, President of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers. He noted the importance of holding international tournaments, thanked the Belarusian side for organizing the competitions and the foreign delegations for their participation in the tournament.
The President of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, Alexander Chupriian, presented the Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, Vadim Sinyavsky, with a commemorative plaque and the medal "For Contribution to International Cooperation".
The closing ceremony was held in a solemn atmosphere: the winners and prize-winners received medals, cups, diplomas and commemorative prizes.
