Result of the International Competitions in Fire and Rescue Sport for the Cup «Friendship» and the prize «Golden Assault Ladder»

From May 12 to May 18, 2025 in the Republic of Bashkortostan, in Ufa on the basis of the “Vatan” Ethnic Park, as well as at the stadium of the Sport Training Center Rima Batalova’s name, under the auspices of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, International competitions in fire and rescue sport for the Cup “Friendship” and the prize “Golden Assault Ladder” took place.
Sport teams of the countries, members of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the competitions.
Sport teams consist of the famous athletes, including world-class masters of sport, record holders and world champions.
The delegations from the Republic of Austria, the Republic of Cameroon, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Czech Republic also attended the competitions.
The Bashkir land welcomed athletes and guests of the competitions with special warmth and hospitality, creating all necessary conditions for new sporting achievements and records.
During four days, the strongest athletes from different countries demonstrated physical fitness, professionalism and the will to win in such disciplines as climbing up the assault ladder to the 4t-h and 2-nd floors of the training tower, overcoming the 100-meters obstacle course, the fire relay race 4x100 and combat deployment.

On the first day of the competitions at the “Vatan” Ethnic Park in Ufa, athletes competed in climbing up the assault ladder to the 2-nd and 4-th floors of the training tower. This is the only type of the competitions, where the sportsmen run not only horizontally, but also vertically.
On May 14, the grand opening of the International Competitions took place in “Vatan” Park.
The Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov thanked for choosing the Republic of Bashkortostan as a place for the competitions. He noted that Ufa had already hosted international fire and rescue sport competitions in 2022 and which were highly appreciated at the federal level.
Andrey Kalinin, Director of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, thanked the host city Ufa for the high level of organization and called the competitions as a celebration of sport and friendship.
During the breaks between the races, the audience was pleased with the demonstration performances of Ufa vocal groups.
Athletes from the Republic of Belarus became the champions of the first competitions day. Irina Vanyuk was the first who climbed through the window to the second floor of the training tower, Nikita Ukolov through the window to the fourth floor. The representative of Belarus took the third place on the podium. The Russian athlete Karina Bochkareva became the second. Athletes of the Russian Federation Dmitry Grebenshchikov and Stanislav Titorenko took the second and the third places of the podium.
On May 15, athletes competed in overcoming the 100-meters obstacle course at the stadium of the Sport Training Center by Rima Batalova name. And only the strongest athletes with the best results in a hard and stubborn struggle became participants of the final race.
The second day of the competitions was a triumph for the athletes from the Russian Federation. Shamkhan Kubaev and Karina Bochkareva became the best in overcoming the 100-meters obstacle course. Athletes from the Republic of Belarus Daniil Masalov and Daniil Lameyko took the second and third places among men. Among women, Maria Kataseva, the athlete from the Russian Federation, took the second place. Valeria Furik from the Republic of Belarus took the third place.
On May 16, the athletes competed in the fire relay. This type of the program is exclusively a team program, each participant must clearly understand their task and complete it as quickly and correctly as possible. It is only when all athletes act together and smoothly, the final goal – victory is achieved!
According to the results of the races, the athletes of the Russian Federation showed the best time among women. The representatives of the Republic of Belarus are in the second place. The third place took to the athletes of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Athletes from the Russian Federation have the best result among men. The silver medal was won by the team of the Republic of Belarus. The team of the Republic of Kazakhstan is in the third place.
On the fourth and final day of the competitions, the teams competed in combat deployment. This team discipline became the final stage of competitions in fire and rescue sport. Men and women laid the main and sleeve line from the motor pump and "hit" the targets with a jet of water. This set of exercises clearly demonstrates the most important professional skills of firefighters.
The best result in combat deployment among women was shown by the national team of the Russian Federation, the second result was achieved by the national team of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the third result was achieved by the Republic of Belarus.
Athletes of the Republic of Uzbekistan won the gold among men in combat deployment, the silver medalist became the team of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the bronze medals got the team of the Republic of Belarus.
In the women's team competitions, the places were distributed as follows:
- 1-st place – Russian Federation;
- 2-nd place – Republic of Belarus;
- 3-rd place – Republic of Uzbekistan.
- 1-st place – Republic of Belarus;
- 2-nd place – Russian Federation;
- 3-rd place – Republic of Uzbekistan.
After the award ceremony, the chief judge of the competitions, Pavel Marshal, declared the competitions closed.
The closing ceremony was held at the Sport Training Center named after by Rima Batalova. On behalf of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, Andrei Kalinin thanked the organizers of the competitions for the grand sport event and congratulated the heads of foreign delegations and guests with the completion of the international competitions, and wished the athletes new achievements and victories!
The honored guests of the competitions noted that 4 days passed as one go.
Rima Batalova, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, stressed that during these 4 days the teams members became friends and were able to fully feel the hospitality of the Bashkir land, showing the best results.
