Press release of the XIV World Championship among boys and juniors and X World Championship among girls and juniors

From August 21 to 27, 2025, the XIV World Championship among boys and juniors and the X World Championship among girls and juniors in fire and rescue sport will be held in Saransk.

Sberbank is the General Partner of the XIV World Championship among boys and juniors and the X World Championship among girls and juniors in fire and rescue sports.

The aim of the competition is to develop fire and rescue sport in the international arena, popularize the profession of firefighter and rescuer among children and youth, strengthen friendly ties and exchange experience in training young athletes, as well as prepare a sports reserve for national sports teams.

The competitions are held under the auspices of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers in cooperation with the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters, the All-Russian public organization "All-Russian Voluntary Fire Society", the Government of the Republic of Mordovia and the All-Russian public organization "Federation of fire and rescue sport of Russia".

The national teams of boys and girls of the member countries of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers take part in the competitions.

On August 23, 2025, the opening ceremony of the World Championships will take place on the basis of the Republican sports and training center "Start" (Saransk, Moskovskaya str., 12).
