On the postponement of the 2020 World Championships in Fire and Rescue Sport.
According to the decision of the XX International Conference of the International Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, the XVI World Championship among men and the VII World Championship among women in fire and rescue sports were planned in Karaganda (Republic of Kazakhstan), the X World Championship among youths and juniors and the VI World Championship among girls and juniors in fire and rescue sports - in Cakovec (Republic of Croatia).
Taking into account the unfavorable epidemiological situation caused by the spread of coronavirus infection, the organizing countries decided to postpone the competitions to a later period in order to ensure the safety of participants and guests of the championships.
