International competitions in fire and rescue sport for the Cup "Friendship" and the prize "Golden Assault" have ended
On May 12, 2021, the International competitions in fire and rescue sport for the Cup "Friendship" and the prize "Golden Assault" were held on the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center location as part of the International Salon of Security Equipment "Integrated Security-2021".
The strongest athletes of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Bulgaria took part in the competition.
The general sponsor of the International Tournament was Sberbank. The opening ceremony of the event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Relief - President of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers Alexander Petrovich Chupriian.
In the competition, men's and women's sports teams in fire and rescue competed in climbing the assault ladder into the window of the 4th and 2nd floors of the training tower.
A bright event was the competition of athletes on the treadmills. Quickly and confidently, the men climbed the stairs to the 4th floor, leaving no chance for their rivals. Russian athlete Roman Wagner became the absolute winner of the International Competitions, having overtaken Anton Tarasevich (Republic of Belarus) and Nikita Cherepko (Republic of Belarus) in the ascent of the assault ladder.
Especially exciting was the fight of womens teams, where only Russian athletes entered the treadmills in the final race. Anastasia Romanova won gold, Ekaterina Chendakova won silver, and Anna Starodymova won bronze.
The athletes of the Russian Federation won a triumphant victory in the team competition, the silver - from the Republic of Belarus, the bronze went to the athletes from Bulgaria.
In the team competition, the men's national team of the Republic of Belarus took the first step of the podium, the second place was taken by the Russian national team.

International competitions in fire and rescue sport for the Cup "Friendship" and the prize "Golden Assault" became one of the stages for athletes on the eve of the main start of the season - the XVI World Championship among men and the VII World Championship among women in fire and rescue sport, which will be held from August 31 to September 6, 2021 in the city of Karaganda (Republic of Kazakhstan).
