Austria prepares to host the 27th International Conference of Member States of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers

On July 23, 2025, a working meeting took place in the city of Frankenburg between the Deputy Director of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, Ms. Natalia Rebrova, and the Head of the Upper Austrian Fire Service Mr. Hannes Niedermayer the Vice President of the International Sport Federation for the Republic of Austria, Mr. Wolfgang Prutscher, as well as representatives of the National Association for Firefighting Sport in Austria, Ms. Natalia and Mr. Rudolf Waldherr.

The talks were held in a warm and cooperative atmosphere. All participants emphasized their shared interest in further strengthening international cooperation between the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers and the National Association for Firefighting Sport of the Republic of Austria. The exchange of experience, the organization of training and educational programs in Austria, and the continued promotion of firefighting and rescue sports were at the center of the discussions.

During the meeting, the Austrian side officially confirmed that it would host the 27th International Conference of the Heads of Fire and Rescue Services of the Member States of the International Sport Federation, which will take place in October 2026 in the city of Neusiedl am See (Republic of Austria). The exact dates will be announced at a later time.
