Announcement of the XV World Championship among boys and juniors and XI World Championship among girls and juniors in fire and rescue sport
From August 20 to 26, 2026, in the city of Zhukovsky (Moscow Region, Russian Federation) under the auspices of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers the XV World Championship among boys and juniors and the XI World Championship among girls and juniors in fire and rescue sport will be held.
The competitions are aimed at development of fire and rescue sport internationally, popularization of the profession of firefighter and rescuer among children and youth, strengthening friendly ties and exchange of experience in the training of young athletes as well as preparation of a sports reserve for national sports teams.
The competition will be contested by national teams of boys and girls from member countries of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers.
On August 22, 2026, at the stadium «Meteor» (Zhukovsky, ul. Pushkina, d. 3), the official opening ceremony of the World Championships will take place.
