I Open Official European Championship among Firefighters and Rescuers

From June 25 to 30, 2003, the I Open Official European Championship among Firefighters and Rescuers was held in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation, under the auspices of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers (ISFFR).

The competitions are held with the aim of further developing and popularizing the profession of firefighter and rescuer, as well as strengthening friendly ties and cooperation with foreign states.
